As treauser I am in charge of creating the budget for the years events and making sure you get the most out of your year with Telford! From ticket sales to getting new common room equipment, the role is very varied.

SPORTS:

We organise and run a range of sports for all within telford who wish to take part in IMS, and encourage everyone to play as a more fun/relaxed alternative to AU

ACTION:

Action run projects every Wednesday afternoon, which include things like gardening and dog walking. It's a brilliant way to give back to the local community- and will look great on your CV!

HALL CHAIR:

Hall chair involves coordinating the work of the committee and chairing weekly meetings. I oversee each committee section and meet fortnightly with HSF to ensure Telford is always up to date and running as smoothly as possible

I will cover a range of roles for placement, alumni and affiliates. I'll make sure all events are safe and try and get socities to do a range of events in halls. There is loads you can get involved in including yoga, investing, and the spanish society. Feel free to message me for more information on how to get involved.

SOCIAL:

As your social secs, it is our job to organise all social events, be it freshers, telford day, or summer and winter ball.
We’ll also keep you updated on any events on or off campus and will aim to run a variety of sober events to really try to include everyone in having the best time in Telford!

FREEC stands for Food, Residential, Ethics, Environmental, and Campus watch. The position involves ensuring the hall is as sustainable as possible, focusing on reducing energy use and increasing recycling, while also making the hall as safe as possible. Throughout the year I will run activities and events to promote the many programs and schemes the university offers.

Welfare and diversity rep ensures that every person in Telford is represented and feels comfortable in the Loughborough community. By running various campaign and fun free events I aim to promote positive health and wellbeing.
